Questions

I have a question related to college sports but it doesn’t have to do with transferring, can you still help?

Of course! Though the majority of questions we are approached with are related to transferring guidelines or eligibility matters, we strive to be an all-encompassing resource that is your “go-to” help service. So, whether your concern is a complicated situation involving a coach or a simple rule check, we are here for you. Also, if your enquiry is out of our help capacity, we can point you to one of our amazing partners who may be able to provide additional help.

If I have a compliance-related question but I am still in high school, can you help me?

We can! Our team is committed to providing helpful NCAA-related advice and often the questions start before an athlete’s time at a university. We can help prospective student-athletes evaluate the commitments they make through their NLI as well as aid in navigating the rest of the recruiting process.

I have been treated unfairly during my career in college athletics, can your team legally represent me?

We cannot. CACE is not an agent nor do we provide legal advice. We can advise you on different ways to use your rights as a student-athlete and make sure you are not being treated unfairly. Additionally, if you still feel you need legal counsel after using our services, we can recommend a trusted legal source that has experience in relevant work.

Are you associated with the NCAA or a university’s compliance department?

We are not. We are a completely independent service with no ties to the NCAA nor any specific university. Our team prides itself on making you, the student-athlete, our first priority. This ensures we are giving you the best advice possible with no reservations about how it might affect other institutions.

Is your service really free?

It sure is. At CACE, we believe that financial means should not determine who gets access to quality advice. Ultimately, it’s your future, and you should be equipped with the proper tools to make the decision that is best for you.

If I have an enquiry that cannot be quite captured in an email, do you have other avenues of providing service?

Absolutely. Our team is happy to provide advice via FaceTime, Zoom, or over the phone. We request that you first send us an enquiry via email with a summary of the question you have and we can schedule a time to talk from there.

I am a student-athlete and want to explore potential endorsement options with the new NIL rules, can you help?

We are not agents so we will not serve as a resource to help you obtain NIL deals, however, we are more than happy to advise you on the legality of your deals in relation to NCAA rules and other school compliance rules.
